Student Advocate
“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.” - John C. Maxwell
Student advocates are important to the success of our organization. Our student advocates range from first year medical students to 10 year practicing physicians. Each person is vital to encouraging the success of our premedical community.
As a student advocate you may:
Participate in Premedical outreach online events hosted by DPI
Become a formal premedical student mentor
Participate in our Motivational Minute Project by providing a one-minute motivational video to encourage our premedical community. This video will be posted on our social media accounts. You may discuss anything that will benefit our community (i.e. things you wish you knew, how you overcame obstacles faced in medicine, why it’s important to continue on their journey etc.).
Join our team of motivated student advocates and physician leaders. Please complete the following form to get involved.
